The Real Engineering Story Behind This Simulation

When I joined PT Traders Family Indonesia in 2018, developers edited PHP files directly on production servers over SSH/FTP. There was no local environment parity, zero audit history, and a missing semicolon or concurrent edit caused immediate company-wide downtime.

I led a total developer culture transformation: introducing local-first development, standardized Git workflows (branch protection & PR reviews), automated testing via GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and containerized deployment with Docker Swarm and Caddy/NGINX. Production incidents dropped to near zero, and deploying on Friday afternoon became safe and boring.
